The Shepherds Comical is a web comic that originated as a notebook doodle in a graduate school seminar on Early Modern English Literature late in the last millennium. The comic itself is the brainchild of A New Cartoonist. The Shepherds Comical website was developed by Tom at klenwell@gmail.com in August 2008, who first stumbled upon it on the 4chan /co/ board, and relaunched for regular publication on 1 January 2009. New strips are usually added on Mondays and Thursdays.
